From Hustle to Harmony: Mina’s Journey to Balancing Life and Business

Mina, a dedicated real estate agent in Northern New Jersey with Real Agency, found herself at a crossroads. Despite her business thriving, she was plagued by a relentless sense of dissatisfaction. “Anything I did, it didn’t feel like it was ENOUGH for me,” Mina admitted. “I was always chasing the next big paycheck, never feeling accomplished for my wins.” Her career success felt hollow, consumed by a never-ending cycle of striving for more.

The Unrelenting Cycle

Before seeking coaching, Mina’s life felt like an exhausting loop. “My challenges felt endless,” she said. “I felt stuck in this vicious cycle of making money and wanting to make MORE money. It was extremely tiring, and I felt exhausted being ME.” Although Mina had the self-awareness to recognize the need for change, she felt lost on how to break free from this pattern.

The Shift to Presence

Our coaching sessions uncovered an essential truth that reshaped Mina’s life: the importance of being present. “I didn’t realize how much of an impact this had in my life until I started celebrating my small wins and being PRESENT with my family and friends,” Mina reflected. “Once I started being more present, I saw some huge changes within myself, my mental health, and my business.” This simple shift from future-focused thinking to embracing the moment transformed the way she experienced both her work and personal life.

Embracing Imperfection

Mina’s journey also led her to accept that it’s okay not to be okay all the time. “I learned to accept that I will not be ok ALL THE TIME and that is totally ok!!” she emphasized. “Somedays are better than others, and that is 100% ok. Some things are out of my control, and in those moments, I’ve learned to accept and hold space for them instead of spiraling out of control and blaming myself for everything.” This newfound perspective allowed Mina to stop over-criticizing herself and, instead, stay in tune with her emotions, building a healthier relationship with her inner voice.

Tangible Transformations

The results were clear: Mina’s kinder approach to herself brought tangible changes to her career and personal life. “I learned not to be so damn tough on myself, and this alone has helped me SO MUCH in my life and career,” she said. She realized that moments of sadness or hardship didn’t define her. “I learned it is totally ok to have moments of sadness or hardship, it doesn’t make me weak for thinking these thoughts.”

This shift in mindset contributed to significant achievements in her professional life. “Since working with Sarah, I can confidently say my business has thrived while making time to travel, which was unimaginable before,” Mina shared. This year alone, she managed to take six vacations and still surpassed her 2023 sales. The balance she had longed for was finally within reach.

A New Perspective

Coaching also redefined Mina’s confidence and decision-making process. She learned to manage moments of self-doubt by reconnecting with gratitude. “I used to doubt myself a lot, but now, when those dark thoughts do come, I’ve learned to accept and overcome them and be grateful for what I have,” Mina said. This grounding practice empowered her to face challenges with resilience and appreciation.

Beyond Business Coaching

Having experienced both real estate coaching and life coaching, Mina recognized a crucial difference. “Sarah really makes you think outside the box, asking the RIGHT questions which makes you feel and see things in different ways,” Mina noted. This approach went beyond business strategy, encouraging holistic growth and deeper reflection that fueled her transformation.

A Journey Worth Taking

Reflecting on her coaching experience, Mina described it as “nothing but AMAZING.” She left each session feeling guided and relieved, with greater clarity on how to make healthy changes in her life and work. To anyone on the fence about coaching, Mina offered this insight: “All top athletes and extremely successful people have one thing in common—a coach or mentor. Having someone guide you makes all the difference.”
