What’s Stopping You?

Everyone has different desires in life. Maybe it's a change in relationship status, a career advancement, a shift in health perspective, or just desiring to feel better in day-to-day life.

As you're reading this, I'm sure you can relate to having your own aspirations. And t's easy to look at others who seem to have it all and feel a wave of comparison wash over you.

But here's the truth: There's no innate difference between you and them.

It’s beyond frustrating to recognize your potential yet feel like something invisible holding you back. It's uncomfortable to feel like obstacles keep getting in the way of achieving what you've worked so hard for and rightfully deserve.

So why do some people seem to effortlessly succeed while you struggle?

They're not better than you. They probably:

  • Have strong skills of self regulation

  • Ask for what they want and need

  • Take action daily that supports their goals

  • Are super resilient and have become great at problem-solving

  • Are open to external sources of feedback.

The good news is: These are all learnable skills, and this is exactly what I assist my clients with as a life coach.

You might be wondering how this translates into working with a life coach. Let's dive in:

1. Have strong skills of self regulation : Stress and triggers affect us all. It's easy to point fingers when things don't go as planned, leading to judgment, blame, and rumination. I collaborate with my clients to recognize these patterns, enabling them to detach from outcomes and regain control.

2. Ask for what they want and need: Often, we know what we desire or require. Yet, fear and self-doubt hinder us from speaking up. As a life coach, I help clients unravel the reasons behind these doubts, empowering them to assertively express themselves.

3. Take action daily that supports their goals: Balancing priorities amidst life's complexities can feel like juggling many balls simultaneously. Life coaching aids in harmonizing these facets while acknowledging individual circumstances.

4. Are super resilient and have become great at problem-solving: Setbacks are inevitable, and challenges arise. Through coaching, clients gain insight into their stress responses, which then allows you to foster great resilience and solve problems with more ease.

5. Are open to external sources of feedback: The world continually offers feedback. Learning to sift through and apply it constructively is essential. By leveraging insights into stress reactions, coaching equips individuals to navigate and utilize feedback beneficially.

If you resonate with the idea of gaining greater self-awareness to achieve your goals, I encourage you to reach out today and schedule a discovery call. As a life coach, I meet my clients where they are, facilitating their understanding of themselves and bridging the gap in these five essential skills, ultimately enhancing their day-to-day lives.
