1:1 Coaching

Is 1:1 Coaching For You?

I know how it feels to feel stuck. Whether feeling stuck in how you show up in your career or for yourself, not knowing how to change what’s not working can leave you hopeless, confused, scared, and drowning in self-doubt. You can see another, happier, more fulfilled version of yourself, but you just don’t know how to get there.

So much headspace is devoted to just how stuck you feel. Imagining making a change can be exhausting on some days, even though you know just how much you don’t want to be in this space anymore. Coaching is a process that allows you to get clarity on just why you feel stuck to begin with, and how to move out of the negative patterns, at a pace that works for you.  The process isn’t always easy; in fact, it’s usually a bit painful before being able to break through. Which is why we get clarity first, and work at a pace that feels good to you.

How It Works

Before our work together begins, we’ll have  a Discovery Session where we talk through what you are struggling with and gain more insight into what your obstacles are. By the end of that session, we’ll map out how coaching will support you in getting what you want.

The first session is an attitudinal and perceptual assessment called the Energy Leadership Index (ELI). This assessment will allow us to get clear on how you react to things in times of stress and in times of peace, in order to help us find what will best serve you. It allows you to understand yourself, and have less self-judgment surrounding your obstacles.

After completing the ELI, we will dive into our deeper coaching sessions. We will prioritize each session based on your needs and goals, ensuring that you’re always in control of the work we are doing.

How Coaching Can Help

With roughly a decade of coaching experience under my belt, I’ve helped a number of people work through a variety of challenges, struggles, and obstacles, including:

  • Career satisfaction or making career changes

  • Relationship satisfaction, whether romantic, familial, or friendship!

  • Navigating through loneliness

  • Finding balance and satisfaction in the way you show up in the world

  • Want to achieve greater work/life balance

  • Navigating conflict, whether in the workplace or in your personal life

  • Feeling stuck

  • Don’t have enough time in the day to accomplish everything

  • Need help building confidence or getting over Imposter Syndrome

  • Want to just feel better; not feeling satisfied in your day-to-day life

  • Want help to get out of autopilot and challenge your status quo

  • Overwhelmed by feelings of obligation or guilt

  • Struggling to make decisions - analysis paralysis!

Of course, this is not a complete list, but these are topics that come up most often in the work I do with my clients.
If you can relate to any of the above, coaching can help.

Don’t Take My Word For It

“I started working with  Sarah at a point in my life where I was not sure what direction I wanted to go, In fact it was pretty chaotic. Right from the start, my sessions with Sarah guided me through some of my darkest days and also my highest triumphs. One thing I can always count on is her support and wisdom. Everything that we worked on together has managed to manifest in my life and I believe her guidance has helped me do that.”  Liz

“Working with Sarah is inimitable and gratifying. She has a unique ability to listen and extract key points, even when you feel like you’re rambling. She asks all the right and challenging questions to help you get to the core of what is driving you, blocking you, or scaring you. Sarah is as authentic as they come; she is right there to genuinely celebrate your wins and keep you working through challenges. She is gentle, yet unyielding about pushing you to be the best version of yourself.” Kat

“It has been really great working with Sarah. I was a little skeptical before I started but working with her has completely changed how I approach my work life, and to a large extent my home life too.” — Andrew
