7 Surprising Signs Coaching May Be Your Next Right Step

You want a big change in your life. And you may even be aware of exactly what you need to do.

But, you may be in a state of transition.  Or you’re so frustrated, that the anger stops you from action. Or maybe you’re mind is racing with so many ideas that it’s hard to make a choice and get started.

Far too often, individuals over normalize what they may be experiencing. Or worse, they shame themselves for struggling with whatever is giving them angst.

“Everyone goes through this, I shouldn’t be struggling so much.”

“I’m 43, why can’t I just let it go?”

If those thoughts are familiar, you are not alone. But, you may be feeling really isolated.

And so often it is these very thoughts that precede the decision of my clients coming to me to work with them as their coach.

If any of the below feel familiar, coaching may be your next step -

1.)   The job you once loved now feels like a huge energy drain.

2.)   Your thoughts are racing with ideas.  You feel motivated but once it’s time to take action, your mind goes blank.

3.)   You are so clear on what you want.  But the idea of going from where you are currently to that crystal clear future feels impossible.

4.)   You look back and see just how far you have come in life.  But the idea of wanting more feels wrong, like you’re being ungrateful, so you’re tolerating what is.

5.)   No matter what you do, you just can’t seem to escape some feelings.  It always comes back to the same thing - whether it’s feeling like a fraud, not feeling good enough, constant overwhelm, or just always being so tired.

6.)   It’s feels really hard to get people on board – whether it’s at work or in your personal life.  You always feel like you’re a lawyer on trial.

7.)   The relationships in your life are not fulfilling – something is missing and you don’t know what it is.

So many of my clients have come to me with a goal – a new job, saving money, feeling better in their body – but really, one of the above is the big block.

You’re tired.  You’re frustrated.  You’re overwhelmed.  Your mind is racing.

In coaching, we break down the real problem, while getting you closer to the thing you want as well.

If this resonates, reach out and set up a free consult call to explore how coaching might support you.

With joy,

Sarah
