“People don’t leave companies, they leave people”

We’ve all heard this.  I agree with it whole heartedly, and you might too.

Yet, this is often overlooked. Turnover numbers, the bottom line, financials goals, or even a person becomes the scape goat, and the culture is dismissed.

I believe strongly in leadership being a make or break aspect of business. And without effective leadership and culture, teams are left scrambling, and a vision will feel impossible to bring to life.

And while so many environments focus on training and development, it misses the mark of what really matters – the people. We all bring a unique perspective.  We all have different motivations.  An excellent leader knows this. But so often training either fails to include this, or it’s a once in a while focus, when we all know culture is 24/7.

At the heart of leadership, though, is good training, that prioritizes people. When this is present in companies, ease and flow is present.  Creativity is at the forefront. And conflict is viewed as an opportunity instead of as a blocker.

But to bring this to life in an organization, there is sometimes periods of radical discomfort to create extreme growth.

This is where I come in. I love the ability to be able to work with a leadership team, and combine their strategy with a focus on the people. I am able to bring my prior experience as a Director and people leader, and join it with what I know to be true from working with 100s of clients and teams in a coaching capacity.

At the heart of it all, people matter and when they know they’re a priority, the strategy of an organization is able to shift forward even more quickly.
