My Approach

Throughout my years working as a coach, I began to realize that how we all see ourselves is how we see and approach the world. In order to create meaningful change, we have to better understand ourselves first.

This is why I take a tailored approach with all of my clients.

What does that mean?

I don’t focus solely on behavior or surface-level strategies, I explore and address the root causes of a person's challenges—their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. By working at this deeper level, clients experience more profound and sustainable change. They learn to navigate life’s ups and downs with a mindset that’s grounded in self-awareness, resilience, and a sense of purpose. This approach is particularly powerful for individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about their next steps.

By helping clients understand and shift their perspective, this style of coaching enables them to break through limiting beliefs, gain clarity, and take meaningful action toward their goals—creating results that are both profound and lasting.

What lens do you see the world through?

We’re all shaped by our unique lived experiences—the good, the bad, and everything in between. These experiences form the lenses through which we see the world and influence how we operate day to day. Once you are able to get clarity about the lens through which you see the world, we can assess what’s working, what’s not working, and prioritize how to move forward in a way that feels aligned for you.

Finding your lens

  • This filter is characterized by feelings of apathy, fear, and powerlessness. Clients operating primarily from this level often see themselves as victims of circumstance, feeling trapped or lacking control.

  • At this level, individuals experience anger, frustration, and resentment. They may approach challenges with a combative mindset, seeing others as obstacles or threats.

  • Here, individuals begin to take responsibility for their actions and the outcomes of their life. This level is associated with rationalization, self-compromise, and the willingness to cope rather than change.

  • This filter is marked by compassion, care, and service to others. People in this mindset focus on supporting and helping others, often to their own detriment.

  • Seeing the world through this lens is about collaboration, seeing opportunities, and creating win-win situations. People at this energy level are solutions-focused, optimistic, and open to new perspectives.

  • Here, individuals begin to see life as a whole and interconnected. They operate with a sense of peace, joy, and wisdom, embracing opportunities and challenges with a sense of purpose.

  • The most fueling filter represents absolute passion, creation, and non-judgment. Individuals at this level have a complete awareness that they are the creators of their reality and live in the moment with full consciousness.

How We’d Work Together 1:1

When it comes to creating lasting change, real progress starts with a deeper understanding of what drives us—our thoughts, beliefs, and the emotions shaping our actions. I don’t focus on surface strategies alone. Instead, my approach is about supporting clients to create sustainable shifts that truly align with who they are and where they want to go, both personally and professionally.

Awareness: We start by building awareness around your current energy patterns. Together, we’ll explore how you perceive different situations, what emotions tend to come up, and the beliefs influencing your reactions. Using tools like the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment, we identify your default energy levels. This clarity is essential—it provides a solid foundation for understanding where you are and what might be shaping your approach to the challenges you face.

Identifying Blocks: Once we have a clear picture of your energy patterns, we dive deeper to uncover any mental and emotional blocks that may be holding you back, like fear, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, or ingrained thought patterns. Often, these blocks operate under the surface, quietly influencing your decisions without you even realizing it. Through our work, we bring these patterns to light, giving you the chance to examine them in a new way.

Shifting Energy: With greater awareness and clarity around what’s been holding you back, we move into shifting your energy to levels that feel more empowering and productive. This involves reframing thoughts, exploring fresh perspectives, and challenging limiting beliefs that may have kept you stuck. It’s a process of moving from draining mindsets to ones that feel constructive, uplifting, and energizing, setting you up to approach challenges with more ease and flexibility.

Taking Action: With a new energy mindset, you’re empowered to take meaningful, authentic action. Together, we create goals that feel aligned with your values and aspirations, building an action plan that inspires and motivates you. This isn’t about imposing someone else’s methods—it’s about crafting a path that feels right for you and your vision of success.

Sustaining Change: My approach isn’t just about short-term solutions; it’s about cultivating a shift in how you approach life, work, and relationships for the long term. Together, we develop strategies that help you maintain your new energy levels, even when things get challenging. These strategies are tools for navigating life with more resilience, clarity, and purpose.

When we work together, you’ll begin to recognize patterns in your thinking, feeling, and behavior, which ultimately supports your bigger picture goals at work and in life.

How I Bring This to Life for Your Organization

When teams are introduced to the seven Energy Leadership filters, they gain powerful insights into how they approach and respond to different situations. This framework helps individuals recognize patterns they might not even realize they’re choosing—whether it’s reacting from a place of frustration or adopting a more solution-oriented mindset. With these filters, people discover they have seven distinct choices in how they can respond, leading to better decisions, less self-judgment, and more mental clarity. Instead of feeling stuck or spiraling into unproductive thoughts, they can approach challenges with greater confidence and ease.

Using real-life examples throughout the training brings these concepts to life, making it easier for participants to see how they apply in everyday work and personal interactions. The beauty of this framework is its versatility—it can be delivered in a one-hour overview, a two-hour session, a half-day training, or a full-day experience, and it can even serve as the foundation for a series of trainings. Whether the goal is to improve self-awareness, manage conflict, enhance communication, relieve stress, spark creativity, or navigate change, this training offers a practical, actionable approach to transforming individual and team dynamics.
